Perth Dog Training & Behaviour Specialist
Want to strengthen your bond with your furry friend and make walks more enjoyable for both you and your pooch?
Hi there, my name is Sharon and I have more than 12 years of experience in dog training and behaviour, during which I've had the pleasure of working with rescue dogs and serving as a dog trainer for the largest dog rescue organisation in Western Australia.
I believe that professional dog training and behaviour modification are crucial for establishing a positive relationship between dogs and their humans. With the help of a professional trainer, common issues such as excessive barking, leash-pulling, and dog reactivity can be effectively resolved through the use of positive reinforcement techniques.
Not only do we teach dogs new behaviours and eliminate undesirable ones, but we also guide pet owners on how to communicate effectively and positively with their furry companions. This results in a deeper understanding and a stronger bond between the two, ultimately improving their quality of life and creating a happier and more harmonious home environment.
What makes me different from other trainers?
I specialise in dog reactivity and aggression to help dogs who are unsure how to act or don’t have the confidence when in the presence of other dogs. My unique approach involves skillfully pairing reactive dogs with well-socialised canine companions, fostering an environment where these dogs can not only conquer their reactivity in a safe and controlled manner, but also learn valuable social skills from their new friends.

At Home Sessions
Our experienced dog trainers will work with you and your dog in a familiar setting, addressing specific behavior problems or teaching obedience commands tailored to your dog's needs. By working with you and your dog in your home environment, our trainers can provide tailored advice on managing specific behaviours that may be unique to your household.
What we can help with:
Dog/Human Aggression
By finding the underlying causes of dog and human aggression, we can create customised training plan, and teach effective techniques to manage and modify aggressive behaviours.
Anxiety and Stress
Resolving anxiety and stress in dogs, including separation anxiety, requires a thoughtful approach. A key strategy is to gradually desensitise your pooch to anxiety-inducing triggers by exposing them to those triggers in a controlled and positive manner.
Settling in a Rescue Dog
We can provide guidance on creating a structured and nurturing environment that helps your new furry friend settle in comfortably. We can assess the dog's individual needs, work on building trust and confidence, and provide training techniques to address any behavioural challenges that may arise
Chewing & Destructive Behaviours
Dogs and their chewing habits can sometimes be a destructive combo! Chewing is a natural behaviour for dogs, but when they turn it into wrecking furniture or gnawing on our favourite shoes, it can be a real headache.
Dog Socialisation
By creating controlled environments where dogs can safely engage in socialisation, we can help them build confidence and learn appropriate behaviours while teaching owners how to recognise and address signs of fear, anxiety, or aggression.
Paws On The Go Session
Our Paws On The Go package is designed for dog owners who want to fast-track their dogs leash skills. This session consists of our Trainer conducting a structured walk while incorporating training exercises to help address certain behaviours.
